This is a step-by-step guide for creating Player pages here on Bard's Lore.

1. Log into your Bard’s Lore account
2. Find your player page (campaign page > player name)
3. Edit (if page is already created -- otherwise, it will be an empty text box: proceed to next step)
4. Replace content of player page with the following text: {{subst:Player}}
5. Save
6. Edit
7. Fill in information on the template that has now appeared:
   1. Note: Leave {{PAGENAME}} alone
   2. Replace CharacterName with your main character’s name
   3. In [[CampaignTitle|Campaign Nickname]], replace CampaignTitle with the official name of the Campaign page, and Campaign Nickname with the shorter name if there is one. e.g., [[The_Gates_of_Avalon|Avalon]]
   4. Note: If you have multiple main characters and do not wish to choose between them, repeat the appropriate link style for your multiple main characters.
   5. Fill in whatever information you’d like to share with the world about yourself. This can be however much or however little you prefer. Be careful with what information you post, as this is a public website.
   6. Under the listed characters section, replace CharacterName with the name of your character.
   7. Replace race with your character’s race
   8. Replace class with your character’s class
   9. [[Campaign1]] and [[Campaign2]] are merely examples. Replace these with the correct full name of the campaign(s) (seen in the campaign's URL) the listed character is in. Note that the characters are listed after only 1 asterisk, and the campaign(s) they’re in are listed after 2 asterisks. This creates a sub-list under the main list.
   10. Replace the examples in the “One-Shots and Shorts” section with the appropriate character information, using the same formatting as the previous section. If an official page has not been made for a one-shot/short, do not place the title in brackets. This link will be remedied when the recording is uploaded to the website. e.g., Dawn of the Scarlet Son (rather than [[Dawn_of_the_Scarlet_Son]])
   11. If you have GM’ed a campaign, arc, short, or one-shot, fill in the appropriate information as you did in the previous sections. If you did not GM a session, delete this section from your page.
