How to Make Friends and Enslave People.
Once per day, you may add +3 to the saving DC for any mind-effecting or compulsion spell (but not spells that have additional non-mind effecting or compulsion effects, such as Baleful Polymorph). You must read the book for ten minutes each day to gain its benefits.

The Distant Prey
Once per day, you may take 20 on three of your ranged attacks in one round. These do not count as critical successes. Any additional attacks you make this round will suffer a -5 penalty. You must read the book for ten minutes each day to gain its benefits.

Guard Those Vitals! Using Your Armor and Shield to Stay Alive and Not Die.
Once per day, you may ignore critical or sneak attack damage if you are wearing armor. You still receive normal damage from the attack. If you are also using a shield you may use this ability a second time per day, but you will lose your shield bonus for two rounds. You must read the book for ten minutes each day to gain its benefits.
