'''The Vena Summer Festival''' is a short, three-session arc created by [[QSDragonLord]] and [[MakoSoldier626]] as an introduction to the Pathfinder Role Playing Game for [[Lorien]] and [[DarkLordPaladin]]. Their characters, along with [[Decasus]]'s [[Ma'neha]], attended the Vena Summer Festival in Hyphantonar, where they all both enjoyed some of the festival games as well as participated in the three-day hunt.

*'''Summary''': The party attended the Vena’s Summer Festival. After Brummen somehow beat Ma’neha in a rock-throwing contest, the party gathered to hear about the upcoming hunt. Several participants made comments and told stories, though one in particular stood out as the reigning champion of previous hunts -- Fern. Ma’neha bragged that Brummen had killed a <i>mali con’gal</i>, a fib that marked Brummen as Fern’s rival. The next morning, the hunt began. The small group found a young hunter, Claire Windsong, and suggested teaming up together. She declined, stating that she had something to prove in an attempt to win and beat Fern this year. The party of four began their hunt, searching for a golden yeti. At one point, Mu shifted into a young golden yeti, an act that almost turned disastrous for a lack of communication within the party. Ultimately, no yeti was found; however, as night descended, a small pack of cinder wolves attacked them, considering them easy prey, but discovering their error too late. With the wolves handily defeated, the party skinned the creatures and set up camp for the night.

*'''Summary''': The second day of the hunt, Mu, Jenara, and Brummen awoke to a late start. After Mu prepared breakfast for the trio (Ma’neha had needed to run off in the middle of the night), they were interrupted by the sounds of a struggle and a lady’s call for aid. They jumped into action, saving a cleric, Aleya, from a small group of troglodytes. Grateful for their assistance, she joined them for the day as they continued their hunt. Once again, they failed to find a golden yeti. Instead, they stumbled upon a dire badger, an unusually large creature that they managed to kill. As night was falling once more, they decided to spend the night in the dire badger’s cave. Aleya left them early the next morning, continuing on with her own personal mission of warning the people of Hyphantonar of an impending invasion of troglodytes.

*'''Summary''': After spending the night in the dire badger’s cave, Mu, Jenara, and Brummen created a makeshift sleigh with which to lug around the head of the dire badger and the pelts of the wolves. Being the final day of the hunt, they decided to continue hunting. Instead of finding another animal as their prey, however, they found Claire Windsong, trapped and pinned as Fern’s prey. Mu and Jenara left Brummen to free and stabilize the young hunter while they sneaked forward to attempt to find Fern and his party. Before long, they were ambushed by a couple of Fern’s cohorts. Handily stopping them, Mu and Jenara convinced them to turn from their ways and head back to camp, tattling on Fern when they arrived. Regrouping to continue forward, the party of four continued to track Fern’s group, finding their campsite and confronting them. The confrontation quickly devolved into aggressive negotiations, and Fern himself appeared, striking and dropping his perceived rival. The other three continued the scuffle, quickly gaining the upper hand and capturing Fern and his men to take back to camp for trial. Claire tended to Brummen, reviving him in a returned favor. The party returned to the Vena’s camp with their prizes and their foes, successfully turning in both.
