 Not long after she became a hit in Ravinspear, an outsider came to live in Anoria. He wasn't quite human, she could tell, but he wasn't like the natives either. It was rare enough that any outsider could find the village, but never before had one been allowed to stay. Ruka immediately took to him, her interest in the outside world nigh insatiable. At first, the man, Chorazin, didn't seem to like her, almost as if she didn't live up to some form of expectations. But over a few months, he softened and began to tell her more of where he had traveled. And as she neared sixteen, she learned of some of the threats to Avalon and what he really was. But she had never suspected that she herself might be part it as well. That she could protect the happiness of Avalon.

+Anoria, the quaint little village she was born to. Its people, the Kitsune, are very superstitious, but very crafty, often tricksters. That wasn't true of all of them, however. Ruka was about as transparent as they come. Her honesty and sweetness made her fairly universally well liked. Her people worked various crafts and took them into Ravinspear for trade. Her family had her try various things like weaving or woodworking, but it was quickly clear she had no talent. However, one time they were in the city, a passing citizen heard her singing softly to herself and begged her parents to let her try out at a local theatre. She was an overnight success and quickly became iconic star. And she enjoyed every moment of bringing smiles to the faces of the ever growing crowds.
